I believe in the healing power of movement. When we move our bodies, we positively affect our whole being. When we practice yoga, we are practicing presence. Presence in our body, thoughts and feelings. How is my breathing? How does the mat feel beneath my feet? Is my attention on what I’m doing now, or elsewhere? Through the practice we meet the present moment. Practicing yoga allows us to slow down, to take a moment with ourselves and devote time to simply be.
Hi, My name is Deena. I'm a Vinyasa Yoga teacher. I’ve studies with leading yoga teachers from different ‘schools’ of yoga, including Vinyasa yoga and Shadow yoga.
